NO MOLDS - NO COMPUTERS. RESIN8 surfboards are hand shaped, glassed, sanded, and finished by a dedicated crew of 16 craftsmen all of whom have been with the project since we started in 2002. Resin8's unique construction process maximizes impact and tensile strength, while minimizing and accurately controlling final weight, and retaining a high tech flex previously unheard of in this type of durable modern construction.
Due to the specially engineered construction Resin8 boards feel more alive in the water. Resin8 surfboards eliminate the centerline stringer, which actually limits flexibility, and allow the flex to utilize the sandwich construction to respond to the surfer and wave in a way that feels much more alive. The board's flex response accelerates it through turns and puts the surfer in places on a wave that seemed impossible. A good surfer will notice the difference as soon as he or she hits the water and starts paddling.
